Crowdfunding Campaign to Raise Support for Vitiligo Awareness in Sub-Saharan Africa
LAGOS, NIGERIA, September 2, 2015 – VITSAF has launched a crowdfunding campaign to help raise awareness for Vitiligo in Sub-Saharan Africa on September 1st, 2015. The organization strives to offer those living with Vitiligo the resources they need to understand their condition, rights, and well-being.
Vitiligo is a skin disorder that causes people to lose melanin, the pigment that gives the skin its color. When someone has Vitiligo, white patches appear on the skin.






Vitiligo Support and Awareness Foundation (VITSAF), is a not-for-profit, patient–driven, patient-advocate organization incorporated in Nigeria and passionately concerned about the Rights and Well-being of individuals living with Vitiligo primarily in Nigeria and Sub-Saharan Africa, helping ameliorate the agony people suffer as a result of turning from black to white.
